The United Kingdom supports the decision of the High Representative Christian Schmidt to prohibit the implementation of conclusions adopted by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska on December 25, which would constitute a violation of the Dayton Agreement, announced the British Ambassador to BiH, Julian Reilly.
“The conclusions are a serious threat to the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, directly undermine the rule of law and aim to undo 29 years of constitutional development. They would also lead to a deviation of BiH from the Euro-Atlantic path. Bosnia and Herzegovina is and will remain a single, sovereign and multi-ethnic country,” the announcement on the platform X profile of the British Ambassador states.
