The value of Works performed abroad recorded Decrease

The value of completed works by construction companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina abroad in the course of three quarters amounted to 87,598,000 BAM and is 1.7 percent less than in the same period last year, according to the data of the BiH Statistics Agency.

Of the total value of the works performed in the first quarter, 32,765,000 BAM or 37.4 percent of the works refer to high-rise buildings, and 54,833,000 BAM or 62.6 percent to low-rise construction.

In the course of nine months, 99.4 percent of the total works were carried out in Europe, and 0.6 percent in Africa, while high-rise construction is represented only in European countries, and low-rise construction mostly in European countries – 99 percent, and one percent in African countries.

Of the total construction works carried out abroad during the three quarters, the most were in Serbia, in the value of 25,943,000 BAM, followed by Croatia 17,790,000 BAM, Albania 12,589,000 KM, and Germany 11,552,000 BAM.

The value of new orders in the third quarter was 30,514,000 BAM and is two percent less than the same period last year.
