Thirteen municipalities in the FBiH were given one million BAM incentives to build business infrastructure for 2012 year.

Contracts for the construction of enterprise infrastructures were signed by mayors of Vitez, Ilijaš, Žepče, Stolac, Cazin, Sanski Most, Livno, Usora, Bihać, Orašje, Odžak, Ljubuški i Široki Brijeg with the Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Trade of FBiH.

Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of FBiH Sanjin Halimović said that the donated funds will contribute the municipalities in the construction of industrial zones and technology parks, in order to make FBiH more competitive for foreign and domestic investments.

“It is also a prerequisite for the development of small and medium enterprises and above all the creation of new jobs,” said Halimović.

Funds given by the Government of the FBiH are combined with funds received from the international community, non-governmental sector for the development of small and medium enterprises.

Thanks to funds that the Government provided, 130 new jobs were opened in the last year.
