A conference will be organized in Sarajevo tomorrow that marks the end of the Twinning Project that was financed by the EU “Support for Institute for Standardization of BiH”.

This project is of vital importance for the development of infrastructure quality in BiH.

The project provided the integration of BiH market with markets in the EU and created an environment in which BiH industry and manufacturers could improve their trade industry relations with the EU and international markets.

The EU financed this project in the amount of 500.000 euros from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA 2009), and the project was implemented by a consortium consisting of institutes for standardization of Germany (DIN) and Bulgaria (BDS), led by the Association for Standardization and Certification of Spain (AENOR).

The conference will be held in the EU Delegation to BiH building starting at 11:00, and statements for media representatives will be made at 10:45.
