The total deposits of domestic sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the end of September amounted to 28.69 billion BAM and are higher by 106.8 million BAM or 0.4 percent compared to the previous month, the Central Bank of BiH announced.
The growth of deposits on a monthly level was registered in the household sector by 109.8 million BAM or 0.8 percent, private companies by 45.5 million BAM or 0.8 percent, and other domestic sectors by 38.5 million BAM or 2.1 percent. .
A decrease in deposits in September compared to August was recorded at government institutions by 41.1 million BAM or 0.9 percent and at non-financial public companies by 46 million BAM or 2.3 percent.
The annual growth rate of total deposits in September was 5.7 percent, in absolute terms 1.56 billion BAM.
The annual growth of deposits was registered with government institutions for 883.7 million BAM or 23 percent, private companies for 538.8 million BAM or 10.1 percent, non-financial public companies for 255.7 million BAM or 14.8 percent, and with others domestic sectors by 152.6 million BAM or 8.8 percent.
A decrease in the growth rate of deposits at the annual level was registered in the household sector by 1.9 percent, i.e. 271.8 million KM.
