Total seasonally adjusted Services trade in BiH increased

hotels in sarajevoTotal seasonally adjusted other services trade turnover in BiH in first quarter of 2017 increased by 1.2% compared with the fourth quarter 2016. The increase in turnover was recorded in accommodation and food service activities by 5.3%, Professional, scientific and technical activities by 2.5%, Administrative and support service activities by 0.9%, while Information and communication recorded the decrease of 0.2%

The highest increase of turnover was realized in the employment activities for the 15.1%, while the largest decrease of 7.9% was recorded in the architectural and engineering activities, technical testing and analysis. Total seasonally adjusted other services index in the first quarter of 2017 recorded an increase of 15.2% compared with the base year (2010).

Accommodation and food service activities index recorded a growth by 87.3%, information and communication by 3.9%, professional, scientific and technical activities by 19.1% and administrative and support service activities by 33.3%, compared to the base (2010) year.

The total seasonally adjusted industrial turnover in BiH in April 2017, as compared to March 2017, decreased by 4.0%. If compared by markets, then, in the same period, it decreased by 4.3% on the domestic market and decreased by 3.8% on the non-domestic market.

In April 2017, as compared to April 2016, the total industrial turnover in BiH, working-day adjusted, increased by 2.5%. If compared by markets, then, in the same period, it decreased by 3.1% on the domestic market and increased by 8.5% on the non-domestic market.
