During March 2025, Sarajevo Canton was visited by 40,449 guests and 92,109 overnight stays were achieved, which is 4.5% more visits and 7.7% more overnight stays compared to the same month in 2024.

Statistical data from the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board show that the most guests were from Turkey, Croatia, Serbia, China, Slovenia, Italy, Montenegro, Germany, Great Britain and the USA.

We also recorded an increased number of arrivals and overnight stays during the first three months of 2025, when the number of arrivals was 11.1% higher and the number of overnight stays was 16.3% higher compared to the same period (January – March) in 2024.

“These are excellent and expected results that show us that we are on the right track in promoting Sarajevo as a tourist destination to visit in 2025. We continue to support good tourism projects that will attract tourists to come and stay longer in Sarajevo, we promote our tourism potential in the world, we invest extremely large amounts of money in air traffic, and, among other things, we strengthen the presentation of tourism potential and affirm cooperation in the tourism market,” confirmed Haris Fazlagić, President of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board.
