Trial in the Case Fahrudin Radončić to begin on March 30

12884433_1135507389833549_224631711_nTrial in the case Fahrudin Radončić and others before the Court of BiH is scheduled for March 30. In mid-March, the first accused Radončić pleaded not guilty. The other accused in the case, Bakir Dautbašić, Bilsena Šahman and Zijad Hadžijahić, also pleaded not guilty somewhat earlier.

On January 11, Secretary of the Ministry of Security of BiH Bakir Dautbašić and Bilsena Šahman were arrested for the obstruction of justice and influencing witnesses in the case against Naser Kelmendi.

On January 25, Fahrudin Radončić was also arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit criminal offenses (Article 249 of the Criminal Law of BiH), obstruction of justice (Article 241 of the Criminal Law of BiH) and giving rewards or other kinds of benefits for trade of influence (Article 219 of the Criminal Law of BiH).

After 20 days in custody, Fahrudin Radončić was sent to house arrest with restrictive measures. However, due to violation of restrictive measures, on March 4 the Court of BiH again ordered custody for Radončić .

The indictment states that Fahrudin radončić led an organized group of people who committed a series of criminal offenses between December 14, 2015 and January 12, 2016.

Fahrudin Radončić is charged with conspiracy to commit criminal offenses (Article 249 of the Criminal Law of BiH), obstruction of justice (Article 241 of the Criminal Law of BiH) and giving rewards or other kinds of benefits for trade of influence (Article 219 of the Criminal Law of BiH).

Bakir Dautbašić is also charged with conspiracy to commit criminal offenses (Article 249 of the Criminal Law of BiH), obstruction of justice (Article 241 of the Criminal Law of BiH) and giving rewards or other kinds of benefits for trade of influence (Article 219 of the Criminal Law of BiH).

Bilsena Šahman is charged with conspiracy to commit criminal offenses (Article 249 of the Criminal Law of BiH) and obstruction of justice (Article 241 of the Criminal Law of BiH).

Zijad Hadžijahić is charged with conspiracy to commit criminal offenses (Article 249 of the Criminal Law of BiH), obstruction of justice (Article 241 of the Criminal Law of BiH) and giving rewards or other kinds of benefits for trade of influence (Article 219 of the Criminal Law of BiH).
