At the headquarters of the Cantonal Ministry of Interior (MIA) gathered members of families of fallen police officers, their colleagues and friends, and people who emphasized this year again that police officers who gave their lives to defend the country in the period from 1992 to 1995 are not forgotten.

Minister of the Interior of ZDC, Nikola Arsenic, said in his speech to present members of families of fallen police officers that they will live until they are mentioned.

“During the war I gained best friends, sometimes we get together to hang out and remember of our friends and comrades and they will live while they are mentioned. This is how we want to preserve the living memory on them and their work because they embed their lives in the foundations of our freedom and democratic state in difficult and tragic but glorious times. This is the least that we can do for them,” said Arsenic.

After laying flowers and paying tribute, Police Commissioner Semir Sut said that police officers whose names are engraved on the memorial board were the best generation.

After paying tribute, members of the police together with members of the families of fallen police officers headed in Maglaj to a full day excursion and gathering as a sign of gratitude, and the event is organized as part of the Day of Police of ZDC.
