Lagumdzija - ambasadori 8 4 2013The Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija held yesterday a joint meeting with the Ambassador of Romania to BiH Filip Teodorescu and the Charge d’Affaires of the Turkish Embassy to BiH Yasemin Eralp.

Representatives of Romania and Turkey presented Zlatko Lagumdžija with an invitation to participate in a meeting of ministers of foreign affairs of Poland, Romania and Turkey, which are already member states of NATO with the ministries of foreign affairs of BiH, Georgia, Macedonia and Montenegro, countries that are on the road to NATO integration. The meeting will be held in Spring 2013 on the sidelines of the session of the ministries of foreign affairs of NATO member states.

Diplomatic representatives of Romania and Turkey recalled that Poland, Romani and Turkey initiated informal trilateral dialogue in order to support and stimulate countries that are on the way to Euro Atlantic integration, with a special emphasis on BiH, Georgia, Macedonia and Montenegro.

Lagumdžija was thankful for the invitation and support that BiH receives for its path to NATO integration and said that NATO is one of the foreign policy priorities for BiH. One of the conditions for joining the Alliance is to resolve the issue of military property. In this context he informed them on the formation of a working group at the level of the BiH Council of Ministers to deal with addressing the distribution of state and military property on the basis of the principles that were agreed at a meeting in Banja Luka on 9 March 2012. The members of the working group are the BIH Minister of Justice, BiH Minister of Civil Affairs and the BiH Minister of Transport and Communication.
