5479946To mark Earth Day, the Coalition for Protection of the Sana is organizing today a trip to the Sana source.

Several hundred participants are expected, and this will be a chance to once again draw attention to the threats of the environment and to actively engage the wider public in its protection and conservation.

The river Sana represents a source of life and survival for a large number of inhabitants of our country that live near it. Attempts to build a hydropower at the source of the Sana are challenged by citizens and municipality Ribnik.

The Coalition for Protection of the Sana lends support to local inhabitants that expressed opposition to the planned destruction of unique natural areas such as Sana source.

For a limited number of interested citizens, transport by bus from the old bus station from Banja Luka is provided. The gathering is at 8:00. In addition to Banja Luka, participants will come from Mrkonjić Grad, Prijedor and other places.
