Turkish businessman Izhni Yildizu, who the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) branded as a new investor for the textile industry in BiH, presented his business plan for a textile factory in Kalesija, which will be placed on 53,000 m2.

At the beginning, 250 workers will be employed, but, according to the investor, around 1,000 people will be employed in the next five years.

“We’re in the process of registering the company and, after that, the investor should submit a request for issuing a building permit, after which the construction of the production facilities should begin,” Sead Dzafic, the mayor of Kalesija, said for Radiosarajevo.ba.

Mayor Sead Dzafic informed Yildiz and his associated with the parcels of land which are allocated for an industrial zone. Yidliz informed Dzafic that he wishes for domestic firms from Kalesija to work on the construction of the facilities.

“If the project will be fully realized depends on the investor, but we will do everything in our power to speed up the process of realization, including getting the necessary documentation,” Dzafic added.

Zilhni Yildizu is the owner of two textile companies in Turkey which export their products to France, Germany and Great Britain. FIPA announced that the initial investment will be 3.5 million Eros, while the total investment is 10.5 million Euros and will include development and expansion of production.
