Russian Elizaveta Tuktamiseva is the winner of the International competition in figure skating Sarajevo Open in the category of seniors, which was held in the Olympic Hall Juan Antonio Samaranch.
World Champion celebrated with 162.07 points, ahead of France Nadjma Mahamoud (116.28 points), while 3rd place went to member of B&H team Arijana Tirak, who broke the personal and national record with 67.86 points.
Organizers of Sarajevo Open are satisfied with the first day of competition, as well as with the success of Tirak who trains in much worse conditions than her competition, due to the fact that Sarajevo has ice surface for only 2 months per year.
A spokeswoman for the Alliance of skating sports of B&H Elmina Muhic said that the Alliance of skating sports of B&H is very satisfied with how everything looked in Zetra today, and that the response of the audience is slightly higher than last year, however it is still poor.
Competition in younger categories are tomorrow on the schedule at the Sarajevo Open.
