Tuzla Airport records Significant Decrease in Number of Passengers

Tuzla had 28,118 passengers in September (there were 42,350 in September last year).

This is only 49.8 percent of passengers from the same month in 2019, when there were 56,412.

Unfortunately, what was announced happened. With the closure of the Wizz Air base in Tuzla, the number of passengers was decimated.

This will be even worse in the coming months, considering that there were at least some more Wizz Air flights in September.

The company operated part of the lines until September 15, one line until September 29, while Hahn is closing on October 30.

This means that the figures in October, and especially from November, will be even worse.

Tuzla had 197 operations in September (326 in IX/2022) and had no cargo. Since the beginning of the year, Tuzla has handled 530,733 passengers and 3.5 tons of cargo, Zamaaero reported.
