A Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (CCUS) received a donation of modern air-conditioning systems worth 50.000 Euros.
Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of CCUS received 20 indoor units for ari-conditioning, donated by companies LG and Stanic.
“Six months ago, we talked with the representatives of LG and the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology was chosen for a donation. Also the cooling system was needed, and we succeeded to air condition departments for tumors of the bone-joint system and arthroplasty, said Prof. Dr, Ismet Gavrankapetanovic, the Head of the Department for Orthopedics and Traumatology of CCUS.
Regional director of LG, Youngnam Roh, emphasized that the motto of this company is “Life is good“, and in accordance with that, he wants to make life better to people and care about those who need it the most.
“Our goal is to make days at the Department for Orthopedics and Traumatology more comfortable to patients. Helping sick is a noble task“, said Roh.
He added that he hopes that this donation will make easier a daily stay of patients, doctors and other medical staff who take care about patients on this Department.
“I believe that the donation goes to a right place“, emphasized Roh.
The president of the Administration of Stanic Group, Svjetlan Stanic, and a director of the company, Damir Kalma, emphasized that this is the biggest individual donation in the last 20 years.
