The government of USA donated to the Ministry of Defense of B&H and to the Armed Forces of B&H military communication equipment, worth 4.194.509, 27 U.S. dollars.
The equipment was donated within the FMS (Foreign Military Sales ) program, which symbolizes American support for strengthening the capacity of defense structures of B&H on its way towards Euro-Atlantic integration.
The official ceremony of the donation was organized today at the barracks of the Armed Forces of B&H “Rajlovac”-Sarajevo.
Charge d’ Affairs of the USA Embassy Nicholas Hill addressed the audience at the ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Defense of B&H in cooperation with the Office of Defense Cooperation of the US Embassy in B&H. He expressed the readiness of his country to continue further development of close and lasting partnership with the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of B&H.
“Ministry of Defense of B&H and Armed Forces of B&H are examples of what can be achieved at the state level, by working together for the common good”, said Hill.
He stressed that the aid in equipping the Armed Forces of B&H is one of the many ways that the USA seeks to build partnership and to support B&H and its citizens towards NATO membership.
