The University of Sarajevo ranks 1496th on the world list in a total of 30,000 universities screened by four criteria of presence, influence, openness and excellence, ranking it in the top five percent of all universities on this list according to Webometrics ranking in July, the UNSA press service stated.

This is the best position that the University of Sarajevo has ever achieved on this ranking list.

“We note that in January this year, the University of Sarajevo was in 1554th place, and in July 2019 in 1669th place, and in January 2018 in 2039th place. This continuous rise is a significant improvement as a result of the efforts made by the management of the University of Sarajevo with its academic and non-academic staff, but also in synergy with organizational units.”
