The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA) said people in Gaza are hungry and desperate for food.
UNRWA Gaza Director Thomas White shared a video on his social media platform account of X, hundreds of Palestinians gathered in front of an UNRWA humanitarian aid convoy.
Stating that people in Gaza are hungry and desperate for food, White said 40 percent of Palestinians in the region are at risk of starvation.
White added that Gaza is fighting for survival and stressed that “more resources are needed for safe and sustainable humanitarian aid throughout the region, including northern Gaza.”
