IbisevicMember of the national team of BiH and striker of Hertha, Vedad Ibisevic, is not just a great athlete, but has a huge heart as well!

BH representative is helping refugees at the former Berlin airport Tempelhof, and he also decided to donate them 50 000 EUR as well.

Vedad Ibisevic gave this amount of money to the project of the integration of refugees “Sport and socializing at the airport,” in the organization of the association “GoVolunteer”.

Vedad never forgot that he ran away from the war as a little boy as well.

“Only those who experienced how it is to be the refugee on themselves can understand what these people are going through. When they come to Germany, everything is unknown to them, they experience culture shock. I want to help this great idea to quickly integrate them into local society,” said the 31- year-old football player, who is originally from Vlasenica.

Well done Vedad!
