Vidovic: We will make an Appeal against the decision of Radoncic’s detention

vidovicCourt of B&H today issued a decision on the proposal of Prosecution of B&H to determine custody for one month to Fahrudin Radoncic, due to suspicion that if released, he might influence on witnesses or commit another criminal offense.

After the Court told its decision on ordering one month detention for Radoncic, his lawyer Vasvija Vidovic told that the decision is unacceptable and they will make an appeal.

At yesterday’s hearing, the defense asked the Court of B&H for exemption of the Prosecutor Bozo Mihajlovic, but the judge Tatjana Kosovic stated that it is an emergency procedure and that only Chief Prosecutor can decide on the possible exemption.

“We will make an appeal and we will fight by all legal means for this case to enter some legal procedure. If the Appeals Council denies the appeal, because we have information that this court absolutely controls the process and that it goes over the institutional competence of individuals in the court, we will write an appeal to the Constitutional Court, as we did in the Sahman case. We will contact all the merit international institutions and legal organizations,” concluded Vidovic.
