visokoThe Municipality of Visoko continues the investment cycle of capital investments launched three years ago, with the aim of creating the best possible quality of life for the citizens and the best possible environment for the development of economy.

In the period from 2012 until 2015, nearly 900.000 BAM were allocated for the development of sports, over five million BAM for culture and education, more than 2.3 million BAM for road infrastructure, around 1.5 million BAM for water supply and sewerage, over 240.000 BAM for public lighting, and about 1.2 million BAM for other purposes.

The Municipality of Visoko continues the trend of growth in the field of sports in 2015 as well, with the implementation of the project of placing lighting on the ancillary stadium “Luke”. Within this project, ten spotlights with the power of 200 W were placed. These lights provide a quality lighting with less electrical energy spent, thus creating better conditions for the development of sport. Value of the works was 7.017.66 BAM.

In addition to sports, Visoko continues to invest in culture and education. In 2016, works were launched on the construction of the upbringing-educational facility in the settlement Prijeko, right next to the newly constructed Cultural Center Altindag – Visoko. The project is worth two million BAM and is a donation from the company “Abras Company” Ltd. Visoko.

Investing in road infrastructure is also continued in 2016. Currently in progress are works on the construction of a pedestrian trail in the business zone Ozrakovići in the length of 814 meters and width of 1.5 meters. Funds for this project are provided by the Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of FBiH and the UNDP, in the amount of 104.994.56 BAM, while the Visoko Municipality financed this project with 59.835.67 BAM from the budget for 2016. Total value of the project is 164.830.23 BAM. Contractor is the company “Špic-beton” Ltd. and the company “Arting BH” Ltd. is entrusted with surveillance.

Regarding investments in the water supply network and sewerage in 2016, the project “Reconstruction and extension of water supply network with the installed public lighting in the settlement Smršnica, Local Community Gračanica” was implemented. Funds were approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Zenica-Doboj Canton in the amount of 39.645.89 BAM. Works were conducted in May and the water supply network was put into operation and handed over to the Public Utility Company “Visoko” Ltd. Visoko for management.

When it comes to investing in public lighting at the territory of Visoko Municipality, in the first six months of 2016 four projects were implemented in the areas where public lighting did not exist before. The lighting was installed in the Local Community Dobrinje, in the settlement Paljike-Ravne, in the Local Community Rosulje, at the section of the road Ginje-Dvor in the Local Community Kralupi, and in the settlement Smršnica, Local Community Gračanica. Value of the executed works was nearly 30.000 BAM and the funds were provided from the budget of the Municipality of Visoko.
