On the territory of Vlasenica, at the area of Jelovacka cesma, a mass grave was finally discovered.

A spokeswoman for the Missing Persons Institute in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Lejla Cengic, told to agency Fena that five victims have been reported for now, since their complete mortal remains were found. She also reminded that incomplete mortal remains of one victim were exhumed yesterday.
She added that it was a primary mass grave. According to her, mortal remains were found at a depth of about three meters.

“According to our information, it is assumed that Bosniak civilians were killed in 1992 in this area, “ Cengic said.
Exhumation at this territory will be continued in the coming period, and the search will be done manually and mechanical.
Exhumation, under the order of the Court of BiH, is controlled by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
