Waiting for Up to an Hour at the Border Crossings

borderDue to the European Championship in Whitewater Canoeing and Kayaking ”Banja Luka-Vrbas 2015”, the complete traffic suspension is on force today, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 00:00 a.m at the site of the canyon Tijesno at the section M-16 Banja Luka-Jajce.

The traffic on the highway A1 is currently operating without suspensions and prohibitions, while in the next two days (from 00:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8th, to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9th) in the section Sarajevo West-Tarčin on the highway A1 due to the regular maintenance the right tunnel tube is to be closed, and the traffic redirected to the left tunnel tube in the tunnels Vis, 25. Novembar and Grab, where the traffic will be operating two-way.

We kindly ask the drivers to drive at reduced speed on these locations and to respect the temporarily placed traffic signalization.

On the highway Bosanska Gradiška-Banja Luka at the locality of Kutlešin Gaj, the traffic is operating in one lane due to the works on the sanation of the landslide.

Due to the laying of the final layer of asphalt on the section of the regional road R-445 Visoko-Ilijaš in Podlugovi there will be a complete suspension of traffic starting from 8 a.m. today until 5 a.m. tomorrow.

At the border crossing in Velika Kladuša, the waiting is up to an hour on the exit from B&H, while the retention at the border crossings Bosanska Gradiška and Doljani is up to 30 minutes. At the other border crossings, the traffic of the vehicles is intensified, but the retentions are no longer than 15 minutes. As a reminder, due to the works in Croatia, the traffic for all freight vehicles is banned at the border crossing Brčko-Gunja.
