Walk through Dortmund for the Victims of Genocide in Srebrenica

dortmundIn white clothes and holding white lilies, citizens of BiH who are living in German province North Rhine-Westphalia, will pay the tribute to the victims of genocide in Srebrenica on Saturday with quite walk through Dortmund.

BiH citizens who are living in Dortmund will recall the Srebrenica genocide again this year, and they expect the response of people to be greater than 2000.

The organizer is dzemat from Dortmund, in cooperation with other BiH dzemats from the region of North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as other associations from the civil sector.

The starting point of the walk Katharinenplatz.

The route is planned through the center of the city of Dortmund to the St. Reinold’s Church, where will be held the central event with speeches, including the speech of the Minister of Labor, Integration and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia, Rainer Schmeltzer.

Besides the Minister, the arrival was confirmed by representatives of the Provincial Parliament, according to the organizers.
