Former war veterans who held the main road M-17 and Vogosca loop at the entrance to Sarajevo under blockade, agreed to unblock the loop in Blatusa and Sarajevo this morning without using the police force after peaceful conversations with police officers.

From the Ministry of Internal Affairs of ZDC added that negotiation with the former war veterans are currently taking place in Karuse near Doboj, and that they expect for the traffic on that part of the road to be enabled soon.

From the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo was confirmed that former war veterans, in agreement with the police, unblocked Vogosca loop, and the firefighters are currently cleaning the area in order to facilitate the traffic.

The intersection of Sicki Brod near Tuzla is still under the blockade and it is expected that it will be unblocked in the next couple of hours too.

To recall, numerous citizens were blocked and standing in long columns for more than 15 hours after former soldiers blocked some of the most important intersections in the FBiH, with the aim to request from the government to adopt the Law on regulation of the status of war veterans and a unique register of war veterans.
