Association of Intercultural Meetings in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the help of U.S. Embassy in B&H and their fund for inter-ethnic cooperation support (Fund to Support inter-ethnic Cooperation) that supports medium to large youth camps are specifically created to promote interaction and the development of tolerance between ethnic, religious and geographically diverse communities in B&H and continues with the very successful project.
Sarajevo from 25th to 27th September will host 48 young people from Kladanj, Bosanska Krupa, Žepče, Vlasenica, Šipovo, Glamoč and Ključ and will continue to learn about the importance of mutual understanding and the reduction of prejudice in order to promote intercultural learning, the development of tolerance and cooperation among young people of different profiles, nationality, ethnicity and religion, supporting the development of new skills, active citizenship and volunteerism.
Participants through public performance will mark the Intercultural Dialogue Day (IDD) on 26th September, which is held every third Thursday of September, since 2006.
