Retired French General Michel Yakovleff said that if “NATO collapses” due to pressure by the United States (U.S.) President Donald Trump on Greenland, Europe will force U.S. troops to leave the Old Continent.
Yakovleff clearly emphasized that he “will not go to war with the U.S.” because Europe “does not have the means,” but…
“We will expel them from Ramstein (Germany), from Naples (Italy)… You will no longer have a single ship in the Mediterranean,” the retired French general said, repeating: “We will expel them.”
He added that if NATO ceases to exist, “it is time to talk to lawyers and speak about a divorce.”
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed on Wednesday that Trump is serious about taking over Greenland, but that he intends to do so by having the U.S. purchase the world’s largest island from Denmark.
