Sulejman ef. Bugari was held a lecture in the Cultural Center “Yunus Emre” in Sarajevo, the topic of the forum was “Being a Muslim – being educated – life in the 21st century”. Hafiz Bugari calims that education is not confined to learning for the sake of a career, but it takes deep studying and analysis of a matter to gain real knowledge and understanding.
Hafiz Bugaris spoke also about one of the biggest issues today, education and life in the 21st century with all the troubles it includes. He stressed the importance of lifelong learning and education, as the first words of divine revelation were”Learn and read in the name of the Lord.”
“Learning and education belongs to all those who wish and strive to realize meaning. It is especially important for those who identify themselves as believers, and this study should be deep and analytical to find answers to everyone’s behavior, attacks or insults,” said Bugari.
He claims that the distinction between knowledge and science important, saying the knowledge that comes from the heart is alive and can make you feel alive.
“Science is accomplished with mind, and knowledge with heart. Knowledge located in the heart is the one we’re going to use, as opposed to the one that is on our tongue” said Bugari.
In the process of education and learning it’s necessary to make a distinction between learning and in-depth analysis. Hafiz points out that if there is no in-depth analysis in science, it is just meaningles.
“Nowadays we only study because of our career, money or work, while deep learning is neglected. We live in a time where pepole blindly follow beliefs, without any significant analysis, where we have a superficial approach because people are occupied with materialism.”
