What are the most requested Occupations in FBiH this Year?

Tailors, carpenters, locksmiths, sellers, waiters, masons, footwear makers, welders are only some of the most requested occupations, according to the analysis of the labour market in the FBiH in the year of 2018.

According to the data of the Federal Employment Bureau, the survey was conducted in March and April this year, and the sample included 1,245 employers with at least five employees that are operating on the territory of the FBiH. A total of 915 employers were included in the data processing so far.

Employers expressed the need for 5,924 new workers in the year of 2018. The greatest need for recruitment refers to workers with secondary education level of IV degree (SSS), 43.14 %, and employees with secondary education level of III degree, 33.15 %. The need for non-qualified workers (NK) was also increased by 12.4 %.

Employers identified the need for additional training of employees in accordance with their plans for the introduction of changes in the sector of technology and organization of work. In the first place are expert and technical knowledge (48.4 %), then additional skills (33.65 %), and social and business skills (14.42 %).

Participation in the programs of financing of employment was noted as the most common type of cooperation with employment services (36 %), informing on offer of labour force (19.8 %), and advertising of job openings (17.43 %).
