What is the Number of blocked Business Accounts in BiH?

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) has published an updated list of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH. The new report on blocked accounts in the Unified Register of CBBH Accounts states that 100,820 accounts of business entities were blocked in BiH at the end of March, and that 54,681 companies have blocked at least one account.

Compared to the previous monthly report (end of February), the number of blocked accounts of business entities decreased by eight, and the number of companies with at least one blocked account increased by 43.

The new report, which contains 4,046 pages, lists business entities from all spheres of social life, from businesses, shops, hairdressers, gas stations, pharmacies, surgeries, cafes and restaurants, to various agencies, cooperatives and companies. This list also includes mines, local communities, municipalities, sports federations.

In the first report of the Central Bank of BiH, published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
