Who is chosen to be the Honorary Citizen of Bihać?

12784400_1111915028859452_1933956969_nThe City Council of Bihać yesterday decided to, on the occasion of the 756th birthday of the city, present the Charter “February 26” to the Public Institution “Veterinary Institute” Bihać and the Public Enterprise “RTV Bihać” and to declare Bakir Izetbegović the honorary citizen of Bihać.

Proposals for the winners of the Plaque of defenders-liberators of Bihać have also been accepted unanimously, and the Plaque of the City of Bihać will be presented to five individuals and one sports collective.

Moreover, the Letter of Thanks by the City of Bihać will be presented to eight deserving individuals and sports collectives and four awards “Japodski konjanik” will also be presented for achieved results in the field of sport.

A conclusion was also adopted that special memorials presenting the Charter of Defenders, intended for all defenders of Bihać, are constructed.

In the second part of the session, it was decided on the abolition of the Decision on fee for placement and repair of underground and aboveground installations on public surfaces at the territory of Bihać, the draft Decision on amendments to the Decision on Utility taxes was approved, as well as the draft Decision on adopting capital investments of the City of Bihać for the period from 2016 to 2021, stated the Cabinet of the Mayor of Bihać.
