The wildfire in the area around Trebinje spread during the night and the fire line this morning is several kilometers long.

The fire spreads in two branches, one of which is located on a hill above the village of Zasad and threatens to “cross” the area.

The wind makes it difficult to extinguish the fire, which erupted on Thursday in inaccessible terrain.

About 20 firefighters are trying to localize the fire, and they are expecting the help of members of the Civil Protection.

In the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK), ten fires have been recorded in the last 24 hours, one in Capljina and Neum and four in Citluk and Mostar.

There is still active fire on Mount Zaba near Neum, on inaccessible terrain.

The population and material assets were not endangered, and firefighters supervised the fire.
