Will BiH become a Country of the Elderly?

In all cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), according to the data of the Federal Institute of Statistics, during the 11 months of last year, a negative natural increase was recorded, which means there were more deaths than births.

4.377 people died in Zenica-Doboj Canton

In Canton Sarajevo, 3.689 children were born in the mentioned period, and 5.545 inhabitants died, 1.210 babies were born in the Una-Sana Canton, and 2.399 people died, of which 58 died violent deaths.

517 inhabitants died in Posavina Canton, 114 children were born, and 2.910 children were born in Tuzla Canton, while 4.975 citizens died, of which 114 died violent deaths.

2.767 babies were born in Zenica-Doboj Canton, 4.377 people died, while 136 children were born in Bosnia-Podrinje Canton and 346 people died.

According to the Federal Institute of Statistics, 1.574 babies were born in Central Bosnia Canton, 2.654 people died, 33 of whom lost their lives by violent death, while 1.382 children were born in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and 2.688 people died.

712 babies were born in the West Herzegovina Canton, 1.025 deaths were recorded, of which 16 people died violent deaths, while 291 babies were born in Canton 10, and 915 people died.
