novalic (1)The government is working and will continue to work on improving the socio-economic and the overall situation in our society, but we cannot do it alone. We need the support of the public, citizens, the media, employers, NGOs, simply everyone, because these are reforms whose enforcement will last for several years and which refer to the right of every citizen, and whose implementation hurts someone, but it’s really the only real treatment for recovery of our economy, health, social sector and all other segments of our society.

In this way, I am ready to accept and offer a hand of cooperation to everyone who recognizes the importance, necessity and necessity of these aims, said the Prime Minister of the FBiH, Fadil Novalic.

Talking on the new Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, Novalic said he did not have enough knowledge about the situation in this area and this was one of the major problems that he faced as the Prime Minister.

Painstakingly and jointly, pensioners, experts and Government of FBiH, according to Prime Minister, made the model of the new Law on Pension and Disability Insurance for which he noted that it is a stable and secure solution for at least the next 20-30 years.

“I believe that the results of its implementation will facilitate work of any future government, including prime ministers, their work and measures in this area, so that no government will have concerns that we had at the beginning of their mandate. I’m very happy to be able to send a clear message that we stabilized the fund and that pensioners will regularly receive their pensions,” said the Prime Minister of FBiH.

“The most important change will be in the area of employment in legal entities through mandatory public tender. In practice, this means that all public institutions, funds, institutions, agencies, departments, institutes, and companies with majority state capital, will publish a tender for each position which will contribute to the Government’s efforts to introduce transparency in hiring at all levels. If this amendment is adopted by the Federal Parliament, the public will be able to see and monitor the employment in BH Telecom and Elektroprivreda, the Agency, the Agency for Privatization, etc.

Commenting on the different figures and ratings on the number of new employees this year, Novalic says that according to the Federal Tax Administration, the number of employees since the 31st of March last year to the 30th of November of this year was increased by 27,714 persons. Data of the Federal Bureau of Statistics show the number of employees increased by 15,640 from March last year to September this year, and it now amounts to 461,944.

“For the implementation of a set of anti-corruption laws and for this purpose we allocated 8 million BAM in the budget for 2017. We have trained the Agency for Confiscated Property, and we are finishing with establishment of a special department of the Court and Prosecutor’s Office. With the reforms of the business environment we will significantly disable corruption in, for example, obtaining permits to start a business. Our goal is to consolidate all levels of government, municipalities, cantons and the FBiH on IT level, in order for potential investors to receive all the necessary permits in the shortest period of time and in one place.
