Winter Tourist Season Open on Mount Vlašić

vlasicWinter tourist season was officially opened on Mount Vlašić three days ago by Tourist Community of Central Bosnia Canton (SBC).

Within official opening of the winter tourist season, tourist event “Šankanje” began too.

”According to analysis of the Tourist Community, around 80 percent capacity is already full,” Director of the Tourist Agency of SBC Miroslav Matošević told FENA.

He emphasized that even with “good organization there is still no snow on the mountains, which is a big problem to caterers, tourist workers and companies.”

Tourist information center and emergency services were opened in Babanovac on Vlašić which will be opened by the end of the season, until spring.

Solemn opening of winter tourist season was attended by representatives of SBC Tourist Community, representatives of Central Bosnia Canton, Travnik municipality and visitors of Mount Vlašić.
