jasmilaJasmila Žbanić’s new film ‘For Those Who Can Tell No Tales’ premiered at the Toronto Film Festival on Saturday.

‘For Those Who Can Tell No Tales’ is a true story about the Australian actress Kym Vercoe and her travel to Višegrad.

‘’Twenty years have passed since the war in B&H and I wanted to do something to mark the anniversary. The war was a long time ago, but it seems to me as if it happened yesterday. I accidentally came across a DVD of Kym’s performance and I was surprised by her story. I thought it was perfect because it showed everything that I felt twenty years after the war. People often say that my films are about the war, but I have never filmed a war film’’, said Žbanić.
