Yellow Meteoalarm issued For Parts of BiH

Due to strong wind gusts in the area of ​​eastern Herzegovina, southeastern, eastern and northwestern Bosnia, a yellow meteorological alarm is in force. Strong south and southwest winds are expected in the Banja Luka and Foca regions. The wind gusts will be 40 to 60 kilometers per hour.

In the area of ​​the regions of Trebinje and Visegrad, strong south and southwest winds with gusts of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour are also expected.

“Expect less disruption to outdoor activities. Be aware of debris carried by the wind. Local disruption to outdoor activities is possible due to debris carried by the wind,” the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina said.

During the night, most precipitation was recorded in Herzegovina.

Thus, there was 32 millimeters per square meter of precipitation in Gacko, 30 in Mostar, 29 in Bileca and Cemerna, 11 in Livno, and 10 in Trebinje.

Eight millimeters per square meter of precipitation was measured on Bjelasnica and one on Sokolac, Han Pijesak, Neum, Tuzla, and Sarajevo.

At the same time, 130 centimeters of snow were measured on Bjalasnica, 58 on Cemerna, 33 on Han Pijesak, 18 in Gacko, and eight centimeters on Sokolac.

The level of rivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Una, Sana, Bosna, Miljacka and Jale, is stagnant for now.
