Executive agency for implementation of the project of the Main City Road and the City of Zenica are finalizing the works on the construction of the Boulevard of Ezo Arnautović, the Boulevard of Kulin Ban and the Boulevard of Kralj Tvrtko I, as well as the construction of cycling tracks and the fountain at the northern entrance to the city.

New manholes will be constructed and pipes that could be used in the future for placement of certain installations will be laid at the mentioned sections.

In parallel with the reconstruction works, pedestrian tracks will also be reconstructed and one part of those tracks will be turned into cycling tracks. Construction of two cycling tracks along the entire section, from Bojin vir to Stacionar, is planned.

Construction of an asylum for dogs in Zenica is also nearing completion. Capacity of the asylum will be up to 70 stray dogs, while the outdoor cages that can accommodate a larger number of dogs will also be constructed. The asylum will cover 26.000 square meters and the total value of the project is 345.000 BAM.

Ninety percent of the works have been completed so far. What remains to be done are interior works and selection of company that will take care of the dogs.

With the construction of the Main City Road (GGM) in Zenica, this city got 15 roundabouts. A fountain is being constructed on the last roundabout, at the northern entrance to the city.
