Žepče and Željezno Polje Got Valuable Technical Equipment for Civil Defence

680_Svicarska_Zeljezno_Polje__41aThe Association of citizens “Željezno Polje – Opstanak” handed a valuable donation of technical equipment and materials to the civil defence of Žepče and Željezno Polje.

They also got a water pump with a trailer which has a capacity of 2 000 l/m, two compressors with appropriate equipment, two smaller water pumps with a capacity of 1 300 l/m, eight submersible pumps, many fire hoses etc.

This equipment will surely contribute to a more effective work of civil defence and of the fire department as well as contribute to the safety of the citizens.

The equipment was donated by the civil defence of the Swiss town Rapperswil – Jon.

“We thank everyone that contributed to a successful implementation of this project, especially our friends from Switzerland and the Humanitarian fund ‘Željezno Polje’ which took over all the costs of transport and customs.” – was communicated from the Association of citizens “Željezno Polje – Opstanak”.
