The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B&H Denis Zvizdić said that the aim of the Reform Agenda is the economic recovery, development and new employment in B&H, and that the first very positive effects will be felt by the end of the year, i.e. the creation of new jobs.
Zvizdić said that it has been proven that the Labor Law is one of the measures that had upset the unionists and the public the most.
“I do not believe that any other measure within the Agenda will cause such a great interest and resistance, but every reform requires a certain compromise and renunciations”, said Zvizdic.
He said that the reforms that are expected in the social sector and health care will require a serious and mutually acceptable dialogue.
According to him, the first presentation of the ultimate goals of the agenda will convince people that these are the reforms that will only lead to an increase in the standard of living and to a much better social and economic environment in B&H.
Zvizdic said that there will be no reduction in salaries or layoffs at the level of the Council of Ministers of B&H, as it is being attempted to be presented to the public.
He said that it is necessary to hold several more meetings with the entity governments in connection with the coordination mechanism, and that he believes that the matter of the coordination mechanism will be solved by the beginning of September, in a way that the constitutional and legal responsibilities of all levels of government in B&H are respected.
