On every document related to Bosnia and Herzegovina made without BiH, institution needs to react sharply, history has taught us that, said Denis Zvizdic, vice-chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He spoke as a guest at the regular Sunday session of the Association of Independent Intellectuals of Circle 99 on the topic “Non-paper ‘of realpolitik and stability of sovereign states”.
Zvizdic reminded that currently there are two ‘non-papers’ in public in which others write about Bosnia and Herzegovina, and although different, both have a common denominator, and that is interference in the internal affairs of an independent and sovereign Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He added that the foreign policy of countries that have a declarative commitment to the European Union is not accompanied by real and realistic procedures that are in line with the policy of the European Union and EU countries.
“In BiH, we are able to decide on our destiny, and those countries should help us on the way to the EU, and not make it difficult for us, which is a complex job anyway,” Zvizdic said.
He is of the opinion that it is necessary to go as a complete reintegration and a planned, gradual, but thorough change of the Constitution of BiH, which will increase the level of functionality of BiH and strengthen state institutions to implement EU reforms.
He believes that it is necessary to consider returning to quality solutions from the so-called “April package”, which was created in cooperation with the international community and which was supported by all currently leading policies.
