150,000 Tests for Coronavirus arrive in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalic said 150,000 tests from South Korea, purchased by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, have arrived on Monday.

“As promised, in addition to the initial 20,000, we purchased and delivered to Bosnia and Herzegovina an additional 150,000 tests, which will be delivered to health facilities across the Federation,” said Novalic.

Three more are positive for the coronavirus in Grude, the Cantonal Civilian Protection Staff confirmed, testing six samples in the West Herzegovina Canton during the Sunday evening, Klix.ba news portal reports.

So far, 39 people from the area of West Herzegovina Canton have been infected with coronavirus.

There are 921 people in self-isolation, 102 of them from the Grude area, 180 in Ljubuški, 325 in Posušje and 314 in Široki Brijeg.

During the evening hours, a person infected with coronavirus died in Siroki Brijeg, which is the third death in the Canton of West Herzegovina.

The number infected in BiH is now 659.
