Nika Maric from Bijeljina is one of two first-born babies in the New Year who was given a golden coin by Republika Srpska President Zeljka Cvijanovic.

On behalf of Cvijanovic, a gold coin and a gift-package were delivered on Wednesday by her envoy Natasa Sjeric, who conveyed sincere congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy life to the happy mother in the maternity hospital in Bijeljina.

Like baby Nika Maric, a minute after midnight, a baby was born in Zvornik, who is the second child of Liljana and Zeljko Maric, who also gave presents by the RS president.

And today, Banja Luka Mayor Igor Radojicic handed over a gold coin and 1,000 BAM to firstborn baby in 2020, while representatives of one bank handed a mother a savings book containing 500 BAM, Avaz news portal reports.
