Bosnia and Herzegovina will open its borders to citizens of neighboring Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia from June 1st. This was announced at today’s press conference by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija.
When entering BiH, as he said, the citizens of our neighboring countries will not have to face restrictions in the form of a negative test for coronavirus, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
“At the last session, we made a decision to allow business people to enter BiH and announced that we would open the border to our neighbors from June 1. The border will be opened without restrictions for neighboring countries – Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia,” Tegeltija pointed out.
As he stated, our neighboring countries were not so kind to us, because BiH citizens are only allowed to enter Serbia for now and there are still significant restrictions for BiH citizens to enter Croatia.
Montenegro is pursuing a special policy on that issue – the citizens of BiH are still not allowed to enter, and we do not know when it will be – said Tegeltija.
Also, as he mentioned, a decision was made today to open airports in Sarajevo, Tuzla and Mostar for interstate traffic from June 1, in compliance with a certain regime.
