Alarming: 41 New Cases of Coronavirus Infection in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 316 laboratory samples have been tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska and Foca University Hospital, and a new corona virus has been confirmed in 38 cases in Republika Srpska.

These are 15 men and 23 women, of which 11 are younger, 26 middle-aged and one elderly, the Institute of Public Health announced.

According to the place of residence, 12 people are from Doboj, seven from Kostajnica, four from Banja Luka, Zvornik and Ugljevik, three from Modrica and one each from Prijedor, Kotor Varos, Bratunac and Trebinje, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.

The largest number of new cases are contacts of positive persons at the detected sites of local virus transmission in these municipalities.

So far, 1,666 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 119 people have died in whom a test for the new corona virus has been confirmed.

Three new cases of the corona virus have been discovered in Sarajevo in the past 24 hours. These are two people from the municipality of Novi Grad and one from the municipality of Centar, reports BHT.

In the past 24 hours, 231 samples were tested for the presence of the coronavirus at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo.
