Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has extended the Moratorium on Loan Repayment

The Steering Board of the Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has extended the moratorium on loan repayment for another six months.

A large number of citizens who are in debt, and due to the pandemic are not able to settle their obligations properly, were eagerly awaiting this decision,Federalna  reports.

“With the decisions we have had so far, we have been covered and as far as banks and bank clients are concerned until the end of this year, this decision regarding the moratorium will be valid until the sixth month of 2021, and as for the grace period for the affected industries, 12 months starting from January 1, 2021 “, said Jasmin Mahmuzic, director of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina banking agency.
