A third-year student at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Sarajevo has died at the age of 21 after being positive for coronavirus, the Student Parliament of the University of Sarajevo stated in the press release onFriday.

The announcement does not state the identity of the student and stated that after Professor Memic died earlier this week, they have received another sad news.

”After the fight against the coronavirus, one of our colleagues, a third-year student at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo, moved to a better world at the age of 21,” is stated from the Student Parliament.

They add that they would like to point out the importance of adhering to preventive measures, given the growing number of infected people in the previous days and the fact that more and more young people are among those infected who have more serious conditions.

”Therefore, we appeal to you to be responsible, in order to preserve your own and the health of the people around you. We hereby appeal to the faculties to take special care of epidemiological measures, in order to reduce the possibility of infection of students and professors to a minimum,” said the Student Parliament.
