Bosnia records Decrease of over 50 Percent of Traffic over Borders

In the third quarter of 2020, the incoming traffic of passengers was 3.668.004 through borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which shows a decrease of 55,6% compared the 3rd quarter 2019th. The structures of the total number of passengers who have entered to the BiH is 36,7% were domestic passengers and 63,3% were foreign passengers, according to BH Agency for Statistics’ data published on Friday.

In regard to the type of traffic, 97,9% of the boundary passenger traffic refers to road border traffic.

In the third quarter of 2020, the incoming traffic of passenger road motor vehicles through borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina was 1.473.170.

The structure of the road border traffic of motor vehicles, 32,4% involved domestic vehicles, and 67,6% were foreign vehicles.
