Today, the activities necessary for the payment of salaries to GRAS employees have been completed. According to the information from the Ministry of Finance of Sarajevo Canton, order for the transfer of funds for the purpose of paying one of the two salaries for GRAS employees has been processed, Biznis Info reports.

Financial resources of around 2.3 million BAM were transferred from the Treasury of Sarajevo Canton to the commercial bank GRAS.

On that occasion, the Minister of Finance of Canton Sarajevo, Jasmin Halebic, said that he expected the payment of salaries by the end of the day.

He stressed that there is very good communication between the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, the correspondent bank of the company GRAS, the relevant Ministry of Transport, the management of GRAS and a lawyer representing the workers.

Significant efforts have been made to resolve this issue today so that workers receive the wages they deserve. Minister Halebic said that in the following period, after the complete unblocking of the GRAS bank account, the payment of other arrears of salaries and allowances is expected, as well as the settlement of other operating costs.
