“Training for supervisors of green boarder” ended today with an official ceremony, organized by the Bureau for international security of USA government for B&H, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia. The training was held from 09-20 December 2013 in Banja Luka.
According to Border Police of B&H, the advanced training was attended by 36 police officials: 18 from B&H Border police and 18 from Border Police Directorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic of Serbia. Ron Bright and Robert Hines from USA were the lecturers of this training.
Participants during the training learned about different strategies of border control and operations that contribute to the efficient prevention of illegal trade of weapons, drugs, money and mass destruction of weapons. The Head Office of the USA Embassy in B&H, Aaron Schwoebel attended the official certificate award to the police officials.
EXBS program has organized a number of advanced trainings for police officials of B&H Border Police and has donated equipment worth about 7 million BAM.
